Name of Program: GGE Summer School
Dates: June 29 – July 28, 2018 (4 weeks)
Location: Greifswald, Germany
Age / Grade Requirement: GGE accepts applications from students who have completed grades 9, 10, 11, or 12
Program Overview: Students choose among three introductory college-level courses (Art History, Business Fundamentals, and International Relations & Politics). All courses last four weeks and are designed to provide a glimpse into the rigors of a college course. All professors teach at American colleges and universities and have been selected based on their impressive research profiles and pedagogical expertise. You will study with the best! Additionally, all students take conversational German to improve (or gain) the ability to communicate effectively in everyday situations. In the afternoon, students choose among various recreational classes (each lasting two weeks). An intensive 2.5 day ‚college boot camp‘ with Admissions Guru Janet Stark will give students the confidence and competence to figure out where they might want to go to college and why, and equip them with the knowledge to optimize their chances of getting there. A 3-day Berlin trip tops off the summer of a lifetime at GGE Summer School!
